Limited to 100 editions only, this 1926 child’s book contains vibrant original woodcut style illustrations of Nursery Rhymes.  Printed on watermarked quartro high cotton art paper by H.Gilead Smith and Published by Saint Loup Press , San Remo, Italy, 1926. Signed by the Artist/Author Mabel Alleyne opposite the title page and marked as No. 36 of 100.  24 rough cut pages, sewn binding, with decorative hard boards and tan cloth spine. Book is tight, pages all intact, crisp and clean. Cover shows shelf wear, and handling on edges, corners are moderately worn, with some age related browning on edge.
